The Role
We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Senior Project Officer to manage complex relationships and responding to strategic and operational issues complemented by strong organisational skills, a strategic mindset, and a track record of driving results. Outstanding written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement abilities are essential, along with a capacity to analyse the broader environment, to understand and solve challenges, manage risks, connect the dots, and provide sound advice underpinned by evidence.

About the Team
The TAFE Strategy, Systems and Tertiary Governance Branch leads system-wide initiatives across the Victorian TAFE Network, driving innovation, improving quality and efficiency, and supporting strategic engagement with TAFEs, government, and industry. The branch also oversees key education plans and strategies, First Nations initiatives, and governance functions for the tertiary sector.
About You
You are detail-oriented, flexible, and solutions-focused, with strong organisational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. You thrive in dynamic environments, can manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. You have experience in project delivery, a relevant tertiary qualification in project management, system improvements, or a related field, and an understanding of complex economic, education, or social policy issues.
