THE ROLE
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to work in the Operational Guidelines team in the Housing Outcomes and Partnerships branch of Homes Victoria. The Operational Guidelines team is responsible for delivering clear, practical and easy-to-follow operational guidance for front-line staff to facilitate consistent service delivery for all renters and ensure renter-focused decision making is applied.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Project Officer who will lead the development and maintenance of operational housing guidelines for public housing. This position is seeking an experienced and energetic person who can facilitate workshops with subject matter experts and conduct detailed analyses to map the current practices and desired future outcomes to demonstrate measurable improvements. A strong interest and an ability to undertake gap-analyses to improve accessibility and usability of guidelines to support staff is essential for this role, along with a keen appetite for problem solving.
You will have the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge to ensure staff have compliant processes that can be easily interpreted to support renters and housing applicants effectively. You will also provide advice on operational guidelines to support the delivery of key Government, departmental and Homes Victoria priorities including the redevelopment of public housing towers and relocation of renters.
