THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a branch with a mandate to support Victorians that access housing and homelessness services with services that meet their needs. The Public Housing Improvement team supports improving how Homes Victoria and the Community Operations and Practice Leadership (COPL) divisions of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing work together. The team is also responsible for delivering business-critical projects that improve housing service delivery and leading targeted improvements in the design and delivery of public housing services.
The Senior Project Officer will work with teams across Homes Victoria and the Community Operations and Practice Leadership (COPL) divisions to embed reforms through the application of frameworks, systems and processes to improve the delivery of public housing services. In this role you will be required to facilitate consultations and workshops that support the delivery of initiatives and support different program areas to connect and collaborate. Examples of this include project work arising from the Housing and Homelessness Stewardship Group priorities, development of the CEO's Housing Operational Report, including defining metrics, improving data inputs, and ensuring performance information reflects real-world service delivery and implementation of revised public housing operational policies and guidelines, ensuring policy changes are embedded consistently across the service system.
