Youth Justice is responsible for the statutory supervision of children and young people in contact with the criminal justice system in Victoria. Children and young people who are involved in Youth Justice are either supervised in the community, or within custodial services. Youth Justice works with children and young people to address their offending behaviour and help them achieve positive change in their lives; and works closely with families, stakeholders and service partners to promote opportunities for young people's rehabilitation.
Following recent amendments to bail laws in Victoria, the Youth Justice custodial system is required to respond and enact a range of high-priority workforce related projects to support a safe, skilled and stable workforce and increase our operating system capacity.
Reporting to the Manager, Workforce Strategy and Support, the Senior Project Manager - Workforce will provide a key role in leading specific projects to deliver Youth Justice's workforce strategy and work plan. The position will be required to develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships to ensure the coordination of expert advice to inform the implementation and change processes required to support our workforce as a result of bail reforms.
