Lead one of Victoria Police's most significant business transformation programs.
Victoria Police is replacing one of the organisation's largest and most critical legacy information systems and is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to help lead this transformational journey.
A key Victorian Government priority is the delivery of a modern Licensing and Registration Management System (LRMS) that will integrate with the National Firearms Register (NFR), providing timely access to accurate firearms information, and strengthening community safety across Victoria and Australia.
The LRMS Program will deliver a contemporary regulatory platform supporting the end-to-end management of firearms and private security licences and weapons approvals, along with associated compliance and regulatory activities. The new solution will improve service delivery, streamline business processes, support high volume transaction management and enable integration with partner agencies including Service Victoria and the NFR.
About the role:
As the Senior Project Manager for the Business Stream, you will play a pivotal leadership role in the delivery of this high-profile and business-critical program. Working across Victoria Police, government partners and vendors, you will lead the planning and delivery of complex business and technology initiatives that will shape the future of licensing and regulatory services.
This role offers a unique opportunity to drive meaningful organisational change, improve customer and employee experiences, and contribute to a program with significant public value.
To excel in this role, the Senior Project Manager will be organised, adaptable and results focused with a deep understanding and experience in technology system transitions, policy impacts, stakeholder analysis, change management, project methodologies and systems and collaboration in a regulatory or government organisation.
If you are passionate about business transformation, stakeholder engagement, solving complex problems and delivering technology projects, we'd love to hear from you.
