About the role:
The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery and implementation of a new digital application replacing manual, paper-based processes used during roadside drug and alcohol intercepts. Based within Road Policing, this role is accountable for end-to-end project delivery.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, the role provides strategic leadership, governance, and oversight to ensure successful outcomes. The Senior Project Manager will drive project planning, execution, risk management, and reporting, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
The role combines project management expertise with business analysis, change leadership, and benefits management to deliver measurable and sustainable outcomes. It will lead stakeholder engagement, translate business needs into practical solutions, and oversee rollout activities across the organisation.
The position is also responsible for vendor management, post-implementation evaluation and project closure. Success requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, and the ability to deliver outcomes in a complex operational environment.
