Senior Project Coordinator
The Role
A Senior Project Coordinator is required to support the Investment Facilitation team to administer the Investment Front Door. The role of Investment Facilitation includes:
The position reports to the Director, Investment Facilitation, within the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions. The role is a priority action of the Victorian Government's Economic Growth Statement released in December 2024.
As a senior member of the team, the successful applicant will assist the Investment Facilitation team to respond to priority project investment enquiries, collaborating across government with other facilitation teams and regulators, and working with industry and the private sector to deliver investment outcomes for Victoria.
The Team
This position sits within the Industry, Trade and Investment Services Branch of the Industry, Trade and Investment Group.
The group works with businesses locally and globally to grow Victorian jobs, drive innovation and increase Victoria's international competitiveness. It supports trade and international investment, international education and innovation, develops Victoria's priority sectors, strengthens the state's digital and research ecosystems and advocates for a competitive, fair and inclusive business environment.
About You
You bring strong organisation and project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate complex tasks while applying project management tools and methodologies. You have extensive experience working across government on complex or state-significant projects and are adept at negotiation, stakeholder management and navigating planning and regulatory environments. You also demonstrate strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions and support project assessment and delivery.
