The Senior Program Officer contributes to a high performing team that provides critical program services across the DEECA Recovery Coordination and Coastal Operations branch. You will enable program delivery and ensure compliance with whole of government and Commonwealth requirements including governance, financial and grants management, risk management, program assurance, reporting and acquittals. You will take a robust approach to project management, planning, project delivery, reporting and risk management that drives strong oversight and successful coastal and emergency recovery programs and activities. You will ensure fit-for purpose information, enable decision making and provide advice on coastal and emergency recovery program delivery, engagement and governance processes that involve diverse stakeholders from government, community and the emergency management sector.
