Senior Program Lead - Regional Tourism Network
- Salary: $113,022 - $136,747 (Plus Superannuation)
- Fixed term role: 2 years
- Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)

The Role
The Senior Program Lead - Regional Tourism Network will play an important role in the implementation of a range of initiatives to support the growth of the Victorian visitor economy, including oversight and support for the regional tourism network.
Main accountabilities:
- Oversee and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across government (including local government) and the visitor economy.
- Provide advice and support to Visitor Economy Partnerships (VEPs)to aid them with the development of appropriate and implementable strategies, plans and programs that support the growth of the regional visitor economy and that align with state-wide frameworks, programs and plans.
- Support the effective management of funding agreements that deliver on government's policy objectives to ensure delivery of key milestones and reporting, monitoring and resolution of issues is undertaken.
- Manage and participate in project teams for discrete pieces of work within the unit to meet key government priorities relating to the visitor economy and regional tourism network.
The Team
The position of Senior Program Lead - Regional Tourism Network forms a part of the Tourism, Events and Entities branch within the Sport and Experience Economy group.
The Tourism, Events and Entities branch is responsible for strengthening the profile of tourism and events across government and influencing strategic reforms and economic outcomes for the sector.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills to build trust, collaboration and consensus across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Conceptual and Analytical Ability: Sound conceptual thinking and sound analytical approaches to support decision making. Can identify patterns and relationships in complex systems and communicate them in clear ways.
- Project Management: Experience in all aspects of project management including development and implementation of systems and processes for reporting on high-quality practice change and recovery programs for desired outcomes.
