About the Role
This is a fixed term full time role until 30 June 2028.
The Senior Program Advisor, Restorative Engagement and School Support Branch, will play a critical role leading the establishment and ongoing delivery of the branch's business systems, records management, data, reporting, and other operational requirements. The role is responsible for:
The role will also be required to perform other duties to support branch business and system needs.
The role requires demonstrated experience and expertise using multiple information technology platforms, attention to detail, excellent organisation skills and strong written and verbal communication skills. Given the highly sensitive nature of the Branch's work, empathy, resilience, confidentiality and self-awareness are all particularly important skills to bring to the role.
The Senior Program Advisor will work flexibly across the Branch based on capacity and demand, and will also be required to support the work of the broader OPSEC Division on request.
A solid understanding of data manipulation, analysis and reporting, visual data presentation skills, and experience in extracting and presenting data from relational databases is essential to e role. Understanding of ITIL processes and best practice management of IT applications is also required.

About the Restorative Engagement and School Support Branch
The Restorative Engagement and School Support (RESS) branch sits within the Operational Policy, School Engagement and Compliance division and is responsible for supporting Victorian government schools and the department respond to current and historical incidents of child sexual abuse by an adult working in a Victorian government school. The Branch has two units:
The branch manages a variety of functions to support its two work units including the department's counselling assistance payments for current and former students who have experienced child sexual abuse by an adult working in a government school, the branch's case and records management system, and reporting to senior leaders on the work of the branch.

The Operational Policy, School Engagement and Compliance (OPSEC) Division supports and empowers school leaders and others to understand and navigate and meet complex policy and regulatory requirements, and to foster engagement and trust in the department.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience
Demonstrated knowledge of various Microsoft software, Salesforce, SharePoint, and similar platforms.
