The VCAA is a statutory body responsible to the Victorian Minister for Education, serving both government and non-government schools. We provide high quality curriculum, assessment and reporting for all Victorian student's birth to 18 years.
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Curriculum Division in the VET Unit a Senior Program Advisor in an ongoing full-time position.
The VET Unit manages programs or projects relating to the delivery and assessment of VET delivered to secondary students (VETDSS).
Core functions of the VET Unit include providing advice to schools and RTOs, the implementation and audit of school-assessed coursework, development of VCE VET examinations, and delivery of professional learning.
Role purpose
The purpose of the Senior Program Advisor in the VET Unit is to manage programs or projects relating to the delivery and assessment of VET delivered to Secondary Students (VETDSS). The position will include leading assessment related activities and participation in the core functions of the VET unit, including development and support of implementation of VCE VET programs including examinations and school assessed coursework.
The role includes providing support to Senior Secondary providers with students undertaking VET, including presentation of professional development to teachers and liaison with the VET sector, industry, schools and education sector authorities.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential: Knowledge of Vocational Education and Training (VET).
Desirable: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Demonstrated experience in co-ordination and/or delivery of Vocational Education and Training.
