The role of the department is to provide policy leadership, plan for the future of education in Victoria and lead key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.

About the Role
The School Performance Division is seeking a skilled and self-motivated team player to join the Targeted Programs Unit to lead and support initiatives designed to improve student outcomes, with a focus on students who are high achieving and have exceptional ability, including the Student Excellence Program, a partnership with the Centre for Higher Education Studies and Victoria's four Selective Entry High Schools. The role will also support a range of school performance and improvement initiatives, with responsibilities identified based on current and emerging priority work across the Branch.
