About the Role
We have two newly created Senior Procurement Analyst vacancies to support the delivery of value-driven procurement outcomes across CFA.
Working closely with the Category Manager and key business stakeholders, you will provide high-quality analytical insights to inform category strategies, sourcing activities, and commercial decision-making. This role plays a key part in analysing spend, understanding market dynamics, supporting complex sourcing activities and monitoring supplier and contract performance.
You will contribute to contract and supplier management activities, ensuring procurement processes are compliant with CFA policies and Victorian Government requirements. By emphasising data, insights and ongoing improvement, this position helps drive better procurement choices that support CFA's operational priorities and deliver sustainable value.
About you
You are a collaborative and analytical procurement professional who enjoys working with stakeholders to deliver practical outcomes and is keen to continue learning and developing your capability.
You hold tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain, finance, economics or a related discipline (CIPS certification desirable). You bring strong analytical skills, with experience analysing spend data, market trends and supplier performance to provide clear, actionable insights.
You have experience supporting category strategies and high-value or complex sourcing activities, including RFx preparation, evaluation processes and contract review. You are comfortable preparing dashboards and reports to track procurement KPIs and outcomes.
You understand the importance of procurement governance and compliance, with working knowledge of organisational and VGPB requirements. You build positive working relationships, collaborate effectively across the business, and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement practices.
