About the role:
The Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Unit works in collaboration with other specialist units within Counter Terrorism Command (CTC), government entities, and third-party providers to provide interventions to individuals who are convicted of terrorism related offences, hold a violent extremist ideology, or are assessed as being vulnerable to or at risk of radicalising to a violent extremist ideology. The CVE Unit is a multidisciplinary work unit comprising of sworn police members, a senior forensic psychologist, senior analysts, case managers, policy and project officers, and in-house program mentors.
The successful applicant will join a small, motivated team within the CVE Unit that reports directly to the Inspector CVE. As a Senior Project / Policy Advisor you will be required to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to advance the CVE Unit's strategic priorities.
