This is a great opportunity to work in a high-profile area, with a focus on removing barriers to the uptake of EVs and rollout of EV charging in Victoria. This important work forms part of the broader energy transition and decarbonisation of the transport sector, and builds on the targets outlined in Victoria's Zero Emissions Vehicle Roadmap.
Join a dynamic and supportive team environment, with lots of opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across DEECA and the Victorian Public Service, energy market bodies, industry stakeholders and with the Australian and other state and territory governments.
We are seeking someone who can develop and delivery policies to address barriers to EV charging rollout and help ensure convenient access to EV charging infrastructure. This will ultimately support greater levels of EV ownership, whilst providing smooth and orderly integration of electric vehicle charging into the electricity grid.
