THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager, Complex Needs and Forensic Disability Policy this role will lead the design and delivery of the complex needs and forensic disability strategic evaluation and research work program and activities. The position will contribute to the team's and branch's leadership through policy and program development supporting complex needs and forensic disability integrated responses.
This position provides subject-matter expertise and leadership in the development of evidence-informed strategic planning, evidence, policy, practice and decision-making across complex needs and forensic disability programs, working closely with other relevant teams within the department and other departments and agencies.
The role operates within a complex and dynamic environment that requires capacity to exercise sound judgement, and the ability to proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
Core to being successful will be your experience and knowledge in evaluation research and evidence as well as policy and strategic planning development, your ability to understand new subject matter quickly, demonstrate appropriate initiative, and produce high-quality advice.
