The Senior Policy Officer – Forest Partnerships coordinates the Government’s response to the Eminent Panel for Community Engagement and Great Outdoors Taskforce reports, with a focus on program reporting.
The role leads monitoring, evaluation, reporting and improvement (MERI) to drive continuous improvement across programs and pilot projects. It contributes to the effective delivery of the Healthy Forest Plan pilots in Noojee and Orbost, and the Stone Country pilot in the Strathbogie Ranges, including embedding MERI in the pilot framework and delivery.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in MERI and policy work, strong relationship building skills, a critical thinking and problem solving mindset, and a flexible and adaptable approach to supporting deliver in a dynamic environment.

This is a fixed term position until 30 June 2029. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
