About the Branch
The Health Branch shadows and supports the work of the Department of Health (DH) and the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work on reforms to
improve the health and wellbeing of all Victorians and delivery of a health system that leads to better health outcomes. The Branch provides high-quality, strategic analysis and advice on a range of policy issues related to the DH portfolios to support the Premier and Cabinet. The Branch also contributes to the development and delivery of key policies and priority projects from a whole-of-government perspective across
hospitals and health services, primary and community health, health infrastructure, public health, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, ambulance services, ageing and aged care.
