Help drive policy reform that supports water security, emergency management and infrastructure resilience across Victoria.
The Senior Policy Officer leads the delivery of strategic flood risk management and water sector policy initiatives. With a particular focus on advancing implementation of the Victorian Floodplain Management Strategy. The role will build and maintain strong relationships to deliver complex flood risk management and resilience projects in partnership with agencies including VICSES, the Bureau of Meteorology, Emergency Management Victoria, Catchment Management Authorities, water corporations and local government.
Working within a small, high-performing team, you’ll bring strong policy development, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills to work across disciplines and formulate practical, evidence-based solutions to current and future risks.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
