The Delivery and Strategy Branch is seeking to recruit an effective, talented and passionate individual to the position of Senior Policy Officer in the Strategy team. The Delivery and Strategy Branch reports to the Secretary of the Department of Premier and Cabinet and works across government to quickly analyse and identify solutions to priority policy and delivery issues. The Strategy team works on high priority projects on a range of policy and operational topics.
In this role you will support the Branch to deliver projects including through analysis, policy advice, data analytics, project management, stakeholder consultation, and presenting high impact analysis to senior decision makers. Your work will contribute to advice to the Premier, the Secretary and senior DPC executives.
You will have the opportunity to work on a breadth of policy and delivery issues across government, while building and maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders. This role requires a proactive self-starter with a passion for public policy, a good understanding of government processes and an ability to work in a complex, sensitive and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will hit the ground running quickly to deliver on government priorities, demonstrate strong policy, analytical and communication skills, and work effectively in a team environment.
