THE ROLE
Reporting to the Complex Needs and Forensic Disability PPO and responsible to the Manager this role will lead policy development and review and strategic project initiatives related to complex needs and forensic disability. Your work will support the policy and design of integrated responses to people with cognitive disability involved in the justice system and people with complex needs.
This position provides subject-matter expertise and leadership in the development and review of evidence-informed Policy, strategic planning, practice and decision-making across complex needs and forensic disability programs, working closely with other relevant teams within the department and other departments and agencies.
The role operates within a complex and dynamic environment that requires capacity to exercise sound judgement, and the ability to proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
Core to being successful will be your experience and knowledge in policy development, your ability to understand new subject matter quickly, demonstrate initiative and produce high-quality advice.
