An exciting opportunity exists for two talented and passionate individuals to join the Social Policy Group, as a Senior Policy Officer in the Health Branch at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
The Health Branch shadows and supports the work of the Department of Health (DH) and the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA).
The core duties of these Senior Policy Officer roles includes providing high quality policy advice and analysis to the Premier, the Secretary, DPC executives and other senior officers across a range of issues within the Health Portfolio.
The roles require a proactive self-starter with good understanding of government processes and an ability to work in a complex, sensitive and fast paced environment.
The successful candidate's will demonstrate strong policy, analytical and communication skills coupled with an ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively in a team environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on reforms to improve the health and wellbeing of all Victorians and delivery of a health system that leads to better health outcomes.
