Senior Policy Officer
The Role
Reporting to the Co-Managers, Local Jobs First Policy, and working as part of a small and dynamic team, the Senior Policy Officer, Local Jobs First Policy, is responsible for leading a diverse range of projects to support the delivery of Local Jobs First. The role supports the day-to-day operation of the Local Jobs First Policy and provides high level policy advice to senior management, the Executive, the Minister and a range of industry stakeholders.

The position of Senior Policy Officer forms a part of the Industry Development, Construction, Manufacturing and Talent branch within the Industry, Trade and Investment group.
The Industry, Trade and Investment (ITI) group works closely with businesses locally and globally to grow Victorian jobs, drive innovation and increase Victoria's international competitiveness. The Industry Development, Construction, Manufacturing and Talent (IDCMT) Branch is responsible for shaping and ensuring the delivery of the Victorian Government's industry development agenda.
