About the School Provision and Establishment Division
The School Provision and Establishment Division leads strategic oversight of programs and services that have a strong interface between the Schools and Regional Services Group and the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA). The division's key functions include planning to meet Victoria's growing student population, end-to-end support for establishing new schools, and developing equitable enrolment policies.
About the role
This is a fixed term role till 12-JUL-2026. The Senior Policy Advisor leads key projects to support schools to manage enrolments. This includes leading on advice related to the Placement Policy and associated policies, such as determining permanent residence, compassionate grounds and enrolment appeals. A key priority will be to lead a piece of work looking at how to strengthen policies and resources to support schools with proof of address requirements. The role works closely with regional staff and other key government stakeholders.
