This role is a 12-month fixed-term position
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner, to join the Housing, Building and Land Delivery (HBLD) group of the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP).
The role is responsible for delivering high-quality, reliable, and timely regulatory planning solutions that support the efficient development of the Northern Freight Precinct (NFP) and its surrounding areas. It will provide strategic leadership both within the organisation and across external stakeholders on statutory planning matters. This includes leading the assessment of proponent-led planning scheme amendments and planning permit documentation.
Additionally, the role will work closely with partner agencies and authorities to establish clear and robust regulatory frameworks. It will also contribute to state and local government initiatives by providing expert input and advice on the implementation of process improvements and regulatory innovation programs.
