About the department
The Physiotherapy Department forms part of the Allied Health Division and provides high‑quality, evidence‑based care across the full continuum - from Emergency through bed‑based services to community and ambulatory programs. Our department is committed to advancing physiotherapy practice through research, teaching, supervision, innovation and person‑centred care.
About the role
As a Grade 3 Physiotherapist in Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM), you are recognised as a clinical expert who provides advanced assessment, treatment and leadership within the sub‑acute aged‑care stream. You will manage a complex caseload of older adults, act as a consultant for colleagues, and support excellence in interdisciplinary care, service development, research, and teaching.
A key focus of this role is to provide expert clinical care, lead professional development, contribute to quality improvement and research, and foster a positive, high‑performing team culture.

You are an experienced senior physiotherapist who brings leadership, initiative, expert clinical skills and a commitment to excellence in the care of frail, complex older adults. You foster positive team culture, collaborate effectively across disciplines, and actively contribute to service innovation, research and teaching.
