The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
The Senior People Partner will be managing an assigned client group to act as a key advisor for complex people matters to support Executive leadership and the People & Capability division. In this position you will be expected to build trust, influential relationships and offer expert advice and guidance to enable informed decision-making, support people initiatives, and navigate complex challenges.
Key aspects of the role include:
Support people leaders in driving change and transformation by implementing strategies that enable effective organisational change management.
Collaborate across the People & Culture function, leveraging Centres of Excellence as a key enabler to implement and deliver a comprehensive range of high-quality P&C services.
Support the development and review of policies, procedures, and resources that promote a positive employee experience and meet legal obligations.
We are looking for:
Extensive knowledge of P&C practices, including performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, change, D&I, organisational development, and HR strategy.
Ability to manage experience across diverse P&C issues, with specialist expertise in workplace relations, including performance, misconduct, grievances, investigations, change, and dispute resolution.
Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a proven ability to drive quality HR outcomes using data-driven insights.
Bachelor or higher qualification in human resources or a related discipline.
