About the Role
As the Senior Park Management Planning Officer, you will provide strategic leadership in the development, review and implementation of park management plans across Victoria's protected areas.
You will lead multidisciplinary planning projects that bring together conservation, visitor experience, cultural heritage protection and land management considerations. You will integrate scientific, cultural and operational knowledge to develop robust, inclusive and adaptive management plans that guide the long-term management of parks and reserves.
Working closely with Traditional Owners, community groups, government agencies and internal teams, you will build collaborative relationships and ensure diverse perspectives and expertise are reflected in planning outcomes. You will also provide expert advice on management planning frameworks, support compliance with legislative and policy requirements and contribute to Parks Victoria's strategic objectives.

About the Team
The Strategy, Planning and Programs Division brings together multidisciplinary expertise to support place-based management across Victoria's parks, reserves, local ports and waterways. The Division develops statewide programs, strategies, plans, frameworks, policies and procedures while providing expert direction and support for on-ground service delivery.
