Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Senior Palliative Care Counsellor & Staff Support Worker to join our growing team on a part time (0.6EFT) fixed term basis until 26 December 2027.
The Senior Palliative Care Counsellor and Staff Support Worker provides advanced psychological, end-of-life, grief and bereavement counselling to patients and families experiencing complex palliative care needs across Gippsland. Based at Latrobe Regional Health and working within the Palliative Care Consultancy Gippsland (PCCG), this senior role delivers clinical leadership, mentoring, education and structured staff support to health professionals. Through face-to-face and telehealth models, the role strengthens patient care, workforce capability and wellbeing while supporting high-quality, safe and compassionate palliative care across regional and sub-regional services.
