Work Type: Ongoing - Full-time
Salary: $100,894 - $114,476
Grade: VPS 4
Occupation: Emergency management
Location: Grampians
Reference: 1741
In this role, you will take a proactive approach to shaping and delivering regional training and capability priorities - coordinating the design, delivery and continuous improvement of operational and Incident Management Team (IMT) programs. You will draw on your practical experience across fire, emergency, or land management environments to strengthen accreditation and endorsement processes, and drive workforce readiness through key initiatives such as Fit for Emergency Coordination and Emergency Role Development Planning (ERDP).

You will also engage with Traditional Owner groups, supporting culturally safe and inclusive approaches to capability development and participation across the workforce.
This role suits a candidate who brings both structure and influence - you will be able to demonstrate an understanding that capability goes beyond training delivery, and is driven to strengthen relationships and processes, develop people into critical operational and IMT roles, and ensure the workforce is prepared, confident and ready to perform in high-pressure emergency environments.
