Are you looking to work on an exciting project and be part of a positive and dynamic team? An exciting opportunity exists to apply for 2 ongoing roles as a VPS5 Early Learning Victoria - Senior OHS Service Officer in the Employee Safety and Wellbeing Division, both commencing 1 July 2026.
This role is responsible for leading the implementation of health, safety, and wellbeing policies across Early Learning Victoria (ELV) centres, while providing expert OHS services and guidance to centre leaders to support the effective application of safe systems of work. This role delivers consistent, customer focused, hands on, on the ground service to ELV centres, to help achieve safer early learning environments and reduce Centre Directors' OHS and emergency management workload.
ELV is in an active growth phase, with 18 of the planned 50 centres currently operational and a further 32 scheduled to open progressively between 2027 and 2032.
Current key responsibilities that may evolve over time, include:
This role will work collaboratively to service Early Learning Victoria sites across metropolitan and regional Victoria, balancing onsite visits with remote support. The position operates within a shared servicing model, with responsibility for a geographically diverse portfolio supported through coordinated coverage to ensure consistent, high-quality support across all locations. This will require regular travel to Early Learning Victoria sites across metropolitan and regional Victoria, including travel by car. Travel and site responsibilities will be allocated and rotated to balance workload, geographic spread and continuity of support.
