THE ROLE
This newly created role will actively support and enhance the implementation of Homes Victoria's occupational health, safety and wellbeing systems and procedures with a particular focus on housing construction.
The role will also assist in the identification of process improvements and the development of activity focused documentation and tools.
The Safety team supports the implementation of the Departments and Homes Victoria's Corporate and People Strategies with this role contributing as directed where their skills can support the outcomes.
Are you:
- Passionate about delivering effective, accurate and informative safety and quality advice?
- Effective at collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders who may have varying degrees of knowledge with respect to occupational health, safety and wellbeing systems and procedures?
- Equipped with strong time management, verbal, written, reporting and communication skills to share complex matters simply and can self-manage personal priorities?
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Support the implementation and review of the Departments and Homes Victoria's Health Safety and Wellbeing management system, identifying operational and process improvements.
- Support the continued development of an accessible resource toolkit that will equip our people with the right knowledge, procedures, guides, checklists, and tools for an enhanced psychologically and physically safe environment.
