This role requires a high level of sporting knowledge, coaching and/or playing experience, and the ability to positively influence both sporting and academic outcomes.
1. Demonstrate high level coaching and/or playing experience. For coaching this means coaching appointments at a representative level or higher in either development and/or competition or registration at the highest level of accreditation in their sport. For playing this refers to current/past participation in a state competition or higher.
2. Capacity to work with the Director of Netball and Assistant Coach to deliver the sporting program consistent with those described in the typical duties for the position below.
3. Commitment to continued professional learning and growth especially so as to consistently understand and champion the philosophy of RSA and to help create demand from families for the program.
4. Demonstrate capacity to communicate highly effectively with members of the school community.
5. Demonstrate commitment to supporting, encouraging and ensuring success of your students in their academic pathways at Rowville Secondary College.

Attendance requirement for this position require attendance at school for three days, Monday - Wednesday
Rowville Sports Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Assistant Netball Coach for our elite Netball program.
The successful applicant will:
Assistant Senior Coaches of RSA Sports report to the Director of Coaching to assist in development and to implement a specialist sporting program.
Their high level sports coaching and/or playing background provides motivation to the students within the program and their knowledge gains them respect and the capacity to make a significant difference to the talents of the students in the program. Their influence will also impact positively on students¿ approach to their academic pathways.
Responsibilities
Model exemplary program delivery during sports coaching and all program activities e.g. competitions, additional elite sessions, athletic development, recovery, exposing students to the highest of standards
With the support of the Director of Coaching liaise with partner organisations on the delivery of their components of the program e.g. athletic development and strength and conditioning and ensure that their delivery maintains and adds to our elite sports learning environment
Support and monitor the engagement of students in their sports coaching, contributing to appropriate dialogue occurs between the coaching team, student and families.
