About the role:
The Senior Medical Adviser, Communicable Disease is a senior public health leadership role providing authoritative advice and support to the Deputy Chief Health Officer (Communicable Disease), the Chief Health Officer and staff in the Community and Public Health Division. The role may act in place of senior leaders within the Office of the Chief Health Branch Officer Branch for periods of leave or other backfill.
As a Senior Medical Adviser, you will contribute to the coordination of prevention and response to public health incidents, represent the department on state and national committees, participate in emergency management activities and provide Division-wide public health medical support.
