The Role
The Senior Marketing and Communications Adviser plays a key role in the Skilled and Business Migration Program's Client Experience, Digital and Marketing team, leading integrated marketing, communications and client experience initiatives that support program objectives and broader departmental strategy. Reporting to the Manager, Client Experience, Digital and Marketing, you will lead strategic and operational projects across the client journey, including marketing campaigns, digital content, website improvements and stakeholder engagement activities. This role is ideal for a motivated marketing and communications professional who enjoys delivering high-impact projects, improving client experiences and working across diverse digital and communication channels to support Victoria's skilled migration objectives.
Main Accountabilities
The Team
The position of Senior Marketing and Communications Adviser forms a part of the Trade, Global Engagement and International Education and Migration Branch within the Industry, Trade and Investment Group.
The Industry, Trade and Investment Group works closely with businesses locally and globally to grow Victorian jobs, drive innovation and increase Victoria's international competitiveness. The group supports trade, investment, international education and skilled migration initiatives that contribute to economic growth and help attract world-class talent to Victoria.
About You
You will bring demonstrated experience in corporate marketing and communications, including developing and delivering brand, content and digital marketing initiatives supported by exceptional writing and editing skills. You will have experience developing and implementing communication strategies, measuring outcomes and tailoring communications for diverse audiences, including culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
You will also have experience delivering digital projects and working with digital platforms and systems, including CRM platforms, website content management systems, eDM tools and analytics platforms, with the ability to manage projects and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
