The Recovery Programs Coordination and Delivery branch within EMV is Victoria's dedicated team responsible for coordinating emergency recovery across the state. EMV helps communities build back better – and emerge stronger – after emergencies.
About the Role:
The Senior Manager, Field Operations sits within the Recovery Programs Coordination and Delivery branch within in EMV. Reporting to the Deputy Director, Recovery Programs, this position requires strong stakeholder relationship skills, responsive problem solving abilities with capacity to deliver complex programs in disaster affected areas. You will work closely with local councils and contractors to ensure that programs are delivered in a way that supports the recovery of communities affected by disaster. This role will require engagement across the branch and management of small teams supporting disaster recovery.
Additionally, this role requires regular and ongoing travel across Victoria with multiple nights away from home responding on the ground in disaster affected areas.
