About the role
The Senior Manager Asset Performance – Metro Tunnel sits within the Tunnel and Stations PPP contract management team and is responsible for providing technical engineering analysis, maintenance oversight, and operational support for the Metro Tunnel. To be successful in this role, you will be a lateral thinker with excellent communication and listening skills. Stakeholder management skills will be paramount and be supported by a strong grasp of the commercial contract structures and broader transport environment. The role monitors maintenance delivery, ensures compliance with asset management and technical maintenance plans, and supports safe, high-quality operations against the operating standards and performance regime.
The position also validates broader maintenance services, including cleaning and asset condition reporting, and supports insurance and damage assessments. Acting as a key coordination point across the Department of Transport and Planning and external operators, the role primarily supports a contract management function, through assuring maintenance activities through the provision of sound technical advice. Strong stakeholder engagement, commercial understanding, and the ability to manage complex and competing priorities are essential.
