THE ROLE
The Senior Manager, Safety will lead Homes Victoria's OHS strategy, systems and assurance framework for construction, upgrades and maintenance, ensuring critical safety risks are identified, effectively controlled and continuously improved. The role will build safety capability and accountability across the organisation and contractor network and use safety intelligence to prevent harm and drive a strong proactive safety culture.
The role reporting directly to the Executive Director, Performance and Governance, will work with the broader Homes Victoria stakeholder group including portfolio managers, contract managers, executives and key internal and external stakeholders, to provide OHS advice and support as part of ongoing OHS risk awareness and capability. The role will also embed broader health and safety programs and policies across Homes Victoria from the DFFH Health Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) team.
