Senior Manager
The Role
As the Senior Manager, Trade and Investment Strategy and Delivery, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver evidence-based economic intelligence, policy advice and strategic initiatives that support Victoria's trade and investment objectives. You will drive the design and implementation of policies and cross-cutting projects that strengthen investment attraction, improve program effectiveness and align with Victorian Government priorities. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, you will provide strategic leadership, influence outcomes and deliver high-impact initiatives that contribute to Victoria's economic growth. This role is suited to an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong analytical and strategic capabilities, and can successfully manage complex projects and stakeholder relationships.
Main Accountabilities
The Team
The position of Senior Manager forms a part of the Trade and Investment Strategy and Delivery branch within the Industry Trade and Investment Services group.
The Industry Trade and Investment Services branch provides strategic and operational support to enable the delivery of Victoria's trade, investment and industry development activities. The Trade and Investment Strategy and Delivery unit delivers applied policy, trade and investment insights, and coordination of complex cross-sector initiatives that identify, attract and facilitate priority investment opportunities across key sectors.
About You
You will use your expertise in policy design and development to formulate practical, evidence-based policy options and communicate clear recommendations supported by strong business cases. You will have demonstrated experience translating strategic priorities into successful programs and projects, while using strong influencing skills to build stakeholder support and achieve outcomes. Your ability to lead complex initiatives, think critically, solve problems and foster collaborative partnerships will enable you to deliver high-impact results in a dynamic environment.
