Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.

VCAT
The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes. VCAT is committed to delivering an accessible service for all Victorians and is transforming our digital products and services to make it faster, easier, and more convenient for people to come to the tribunal.
About the Role
This is a pivotol role in driving operational exxcellence and people leadership across VCAT's tribunal services. The role will be required to ensure robust and efficient compliance with VCAT's legal and statutory responsibilities as mandated by relevant legislation. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of government priorities and objectives that impact VCAT and its stakeholders.
The role will ensure there is a close alignment in both operational processes and people leadership to foster a high-performance culture and will work in partnership with the Heads of Division/List. This role will lead activity to ensure registry staff take a hands-on case management approach in collaboration with VCAT Members and senior executives, establishing rigorous frameworks for high performance among Registry staff and ensure accountability for outcomes.
In this role, you will provide strategic insights and operational leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is fixed term until October 2026
About You
The ideal candidate will need to have significant knowledge of registry operations at VCAT and understand the applicable legislation to drive reform and develop registry practices and procedures.
You will need to demonstrate a track record of leading and empowering teams in a user-centric environment, with a strong focus on fostering engagement, accountability and professional growth to deliver exceptional outcomes. You will also need to demonstrate experience in driving operational reform with the capacity to lead and implement change.
