About the branch
The Commercial, Property and Technology (CP&T) Branch assists government clients to conduct significant transactions and projects, manage their corporate affairs and acquire, manage or dispose of land, goods or services.
The branch offers specialist services in IP/IT, property and Native Title. It offers deep commercial expertise with a government perspective.
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Legal Assistant looking to grow their legal support experience in a government legal practice. As part of the legal support team, you will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to a team of solicitors and conveyancers.
Each day can bring something different and varied, extending from providing support to senior lawyers, to working with conveyancers in supporting major government transactions, and the opportunity to train and develop junior legal support staff along with opportunities for your own training and skill development.
We are looking for an experienced administrator who is calm under pressure, is able to manage multiple stakeholders, has the ability to prioritise tasks using sound-judgement and with excellent written and verbal skills with a variety of stakeholders at all levels. This role requires a high level attention to detail and is suited to someone who proactively seeks opportunities to create better efficiencies in the workplace, both at a branch and organisational level.
