About the Role
Provide high profile legal advice on Victorian native title and traditional owner land justice matters.
Sat within the Public Law Team and reporting to the Special Counsel (Land Justice), you will be part of a high performing team in DPC's Office of the General Counsel
Deliver key legal advice on native title and traditional owner settlement matters, including participating in and supporting Federal Court litigation processes and providing advice to Ministers and Cabinet on legal aspects of key policy reforms and agreement making in the Victorian land justice space.
The Office of the General Counsel provides strategic legal and policy advice to the Premier and the Department. The Office is seeking a hard-working senior lawyer with strong technical, policy and conceptual skills, to be part of a dynamic team of lawyers.
