About the role
The role will be based in the Economic and Social Rights (ESR) sub program of Civil Justice which aims to advance the quality of, and access to, rights which most affect the standard of living of disadvantaged Victorians. You will support the implementation and delivery of services to people in regional Victoria impacted by the October 2022 floods.
The role involves support and coordination of regional civil justice lawyers, undertaking the general legal work of the ESR program and providing legal support to people impacted by the 2022 floods, with a focus on civil legal issues including tenancy, social security, insurance law, infringements and NDIS. You will also provide supervision and mentorship for regional civil justice lawyers.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
