About the role
The Land Use and Statutory Planning Officer provides operational support and specialist assistance in the delivery of land use, statutory, and planning initiatives across the directorate. The role supports the assessment, coordination, and monitoring of planning applications, permits, and compliance activities to ensure alignment with legislative, policy, and organisational requirements.
This is a Fixed-term, Part time role until 30 June 2027. You'll be working 30.4 hours a fortnight.
About the Team
The role is within the Maritime and Waterways Directorate, which is accountable for the management of the local ports of Port Phillip and Western Port, the lower Birrarung (Yarra) and Maribyrnong rivers and the Marine Protected Areas within the state. The Planning and Coordination team provides technical support and advice to the operational teams within the Directorate.
