• Lead valuation analysis across licensing, spinouts, joint ventures and partnerships
• Conduct economic impact assessments and market/economic modelling that informs strategic investment decisions
• Develop robust business cases and investment recommendations
• Work collaboratively with the Commercialisation team to engage researchers, industry, and government stakeholders in validating and progressing opportunities.
About You
You bring:
• Strong experience in venture investment, corporate finance, or innovation commercialisation
• Deep financial and economic modelling skills
• Experience providing analytical leadership or overseeing financial/economic analysis
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Commerce or related fields (MBA or ag tech experience highly regarded)
Why join AVS?

• Hybrid flexible working arrangements.
• Work at the award winning AgriBio Centre at La Trobe University's Bundoora campus.
• Contribute meaningful impact across Victoria's agricultural sector and broader innovation ecosystem.
