Senior Investment Engagement Officer
The Role
The Senior Investment Engagement Officer is responsible for facilitating and delivering new investment and reinvestment opportunities across priority sectors aligned with Economic Growth Statement for Victoria. This will be done through implementing investment attraction strategies, working with companies, industries and government agencies, and contributing to the investment pipeline to secure investments into the State.

The Team
The position of Senior Investment Engagement Officer forms a part of the Investment and Engagement Branch within the Industry, Trade and Investment Group.
The Industry, Trade and Investment (ITI) group works closely with businesses locally and globally to grow Victorian jobs, drive innovation and increase Victoria's international competitiveness. ITI champions Victoria as a destination of choice for trade and international investment, international education and innovation. ITI harnesses specialist knowledge of key industries and global markets to develop Victoria's priority sectors, boost trade activities, enhance productivity and contribute to economic growth.
Positioning Victoria at the forefront of global competitiveness, the Investment and Engagement branch (Invest Victoria) plays a pivotal role in shaping Victoria's business landscape by driving strategic investment, strengthening industry connections, and aligning economic outcomes with government priorities.
About You
You will have an ability to be responsive to a fast-paced environment, utilising team and project management skills to achieve the objectives of the Branch. Use your developed and proven interpersonal; communication; influencing; and negotiation skills to cultivate working relationships with colleagues, government agencies and the private sector.
