Position overview
The Senior Intelligence Analyst is responsible for delivering complex, intelligence-led analysis to identify risks and harms in the built environment, supporting informed regulatory decision-making. The role contributes to the organisation's shift toward a trusted, risk-based regulatory model by developing insights, tools, and recommendations that prioritise areas of greatest harm. Working with autonomy and initiative, the position supports the Team Leader in the design of intelligence methodologies, leads critical projects, and mentors team members. Through data integration, stakeholder engagement and strategic reporting, the Senior Intelligence Analyst enhances regulatory outcomes and plays a key role in protecting community safety and improving practitioner performance.

About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing.
It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
