About the Role:
The Senior Inspector, Building (Preventative Inspections) undertakes intelligence-led inspections and audits to ensure practitioner compliance with building legislation, codes, and standards, and monitors and enforces industry performance.
The role responds to consumer complaints, conducts site visits and inspections (pre- and post-occupancy), undertakes inspections on all classes of building, and exercises statutory powers in line with BPC policies.
As a senior team member, the role also mentors and coaches others, supporting capability building and cross-skilling within the unit.
