DEECA is seeking an experienced, high‑performing Information Access practitioner to join our team delivering complex work across Freedom of Information (FOI), privacy and Parliamentary Orders workstreams.
Reporting to the Manager Information Access, you will operate as a senior practitioner, managing complex and sensitive FOI requests and delivering timely, defensible outcomes in a high‑demand environment. You will exercise sound judgement on challenging issues, provide practical advice to stakeholders, and contribute to the department’s response to Parliamentary orders.
You will also play a key role in lifting the quality and consistency of Information Access practices, contributing to improvements in systems, processes and guidance across the function.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2027. The work location for this position is 2 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
