About the role
The Senior Incident Response Operations Coordinator is a key member of the Victorian Government Cyber Incident Response Service (CIRS). Reporting to the Senior Manager, Victorian Government CIRS, the role is responsible for coordinating operational activities to support the wider CIRS team through all stages of the incident response cycle to support operational and strategic decision making.
The Senior Incident Response Operations Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating diverse functions, ensuring operational efficiency, and managing day-to-day reporting activities. The role will be required to provide detailed advice as well as contribute to strategic planning, and program and project management.
The role supports the Senior Manager, CIRS to deliver a sustainable, high-performing service and ensure seamless operations.
The position requires strong initiative, professional drive and integrity - including the ability to manage competing deadlines during periods of heightened operational tempo.
